18/12/25 family (christmas time) - here it is, everybody!!!!! christmas is officially in a week!!!! a Holly Julian Christinemas... as they say...
it's the peak of winter now so everyone I know is hibernating... christine is either at work or at home, and when she's at home she's painting full time. so we've been doing that mostly, me drawing my birds and christine painting her people. also the TV is always on. i've gotten somewhat hooked on this UK show that she likes called OnlyConnect. it's basically a quiz show; a "fiendishly difficult" quiz show. OnlyConnect is the new Severance. sorta. i've started having dreams about competing on it and LOSING. :^( Well anyways everyone's home for the holidays, for what seems like the first time in a few years. my brother and his girlfriend's anniversary (Annie-versary? eh?) is coming up and christine's friends are staying with her for christmas break. I'm helping them (christine & friends) cook tonight.

14/12/25 autobio (blog intro) - hello!! i'm jules and this is my new blog. i keep forgetting about my old ones/can't log in anymore/using up too many paper notebooks nowadays to keep myself organized so i decided to fix up my neocities. i like to draw (wildlife, my friends, structures etc.) and walk around and explore, and i like to collect things also. i'm a bit of an urbex hobbyist i guess. hopefully this blog doesn't escape me too haha

- 1 cup flour
- 1tsp baking powder
- 1tsp sugar + salt depending
- 3tsp butter
- 1/3rd cup milk (or milk adjacent product) (or water) so called because you eat them when you're outside. knead dry things and butter first -> then milk. i roll these into small ball shapes and just bake them until they look not-raw. lasts like 3-4 lunches and can be eaten with basically anything.. i like jam or some kind of vegetable.
- 2-3 mint leaves
- 25ml lime juice
- 25ml simple syrup (fancy counterpart: demerara syrup)
- 60ml don q rum or midori liquer. paths diverge here
- crushed ice (fill to near top)
- soda water (fill rest of the way)
